Al-Wakrah, who returned to the QNB Stars League, won 3-0 against Al Markhiya in a friendly match on Tuesday as both sides prepared for the new season. 

This was Al Wakrah's first friendly match ahead of their new season that begins with a clash against Al Sadd n August 21.

The first half ended with a goal for Oman's Jamil Al Yahmadi. In the second half Khaled Mounir added the second goal and Faisal Abu Rashid scored the third goal.

The match was played by coach Marquez Lopez with a large number of players to find out the physical and technical condition of the players after the end of the first preparation period in Doha.

Al Wakrah will leave Doha on Wednesday for Turkey to take part in a training camp until August 9. 

The mission includes 26 players in addition to the backroom staff headed by the cosch.
