Al Shahaniya scored a 2-0 win over second-division side in a friendly match on Saturday at the Turkish team camp. 

The two goals were scored by Abdurrahman Naji and Iranian Ramin Rezaian for Al Shahaniya

Spaniard coach Mauricio was keen to involve the largest number of players in the friendly in order to get the squad match ready.

Al Shahaniya will play the second friendly on 27 July against a Turkish league team

"The experience was good, especially since it came five days after the start of the Turkish camp," said coach Nabil Anwar

He stressed that the club currently has three professionals. 

Anwar praised the camp's atmosphere and training and said things were "going well especially since there were no injuries among the players".
