Al Sadd hope South Korean midfielder Nam Tae-Hee would recover his fitness in time for their AFC Champions League second-leg quarterfinal against Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr, scheduled for 16th September at the Al Sadd Stadium.

The team members, excluding those who are away on international duty, are going through their paces under Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez.

The technical and medical staff are focused on making all players, especially the injured Nam, ready for the game.

Al Sadd had resumed their training after a brief rest following their 7-1 defeat of Al Shahania in Week 2 of the QNB Stars League.

Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah and South Korean midfielder Jung Woo-Young were the two Al Sadd players called up for country commitments.

Al Nassr had won the first-leg quarterfinal 2-1.
