Al Rayyan coach Diego Aguirre spoke to the media ahead of their 2019-20 QNB Stars League Week 6 match against Al Sadd, dubbed 'Qatar Clasico'.

“We’re ready to play this game, especially after winning full points in our previous two matches, against Al Khor and Al Ahli.

“The timing may be good for us or maybe not, it depends on players’ reaction. I know that Al Sadd are one of the best teams in our league. We’ll have a specific strategy to face them.

“Our team is constantly improving after every match. We’ve collected six points in consecutive weeks, but we need more time to reach our real level.

“This game will show Al Rayyan’s real level because Al Sadd are one of the best teams,” said Aguirre.

Al Rayyan player Yacine Brahimi said, “I expect it to be a big game enjoyed by everyone. We’ve prepared well, like in all games in the league. I came to QNB Stars League only this season, but I’ve watched Al Sadd in action. After five weeks, I can say the QNB Stars League has special players and the technical level is excellent. For me, this is a new experience.”
