Al Khor defeated Muaither 2-0 in a friendly match played on Saturday as part of their preparations for the rest of 2018-19 season QNB Stars League, which will resume after the Asian Cup on 3rd February.

Musab Abdelmajid, who returned from a long injury layoff, and Salem Khalifa scored the goals.

Al Khor’s French coach Bernard Casoni utilised the game to try out various permutations and combinations as they bid to improve their ranking in the QNB Stars League table, where they lie 11th with nine points.

Al Khor will travel to Al Sadd for their Week 16 fixture on 5th February.
