Al Khor coach Bernard Casoni spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 11 match against Al Ahli.

“The Al Ahli game is difficult. However, we will be looking for three points in order to move away from the danger zone and finish the first leg on a winning note.

“Al Ahli are coming from a big win over Al Sadd and their confidence is high. But we will work hard through which we beat Al Rayyan and Al Kharaitiyat.

“The main focus of training has been on the psychological aspects of our players, especially after the heavy loss to Al Gharafa (0-6). We worked on the mistakes we made in that match and we will try to avoid them against Al Ahli.

“We played well against Al Gharafa in the first half, but our performance went down in the second half after the red card to Rebin Solaka. That was the turning point and we lost the plot. Overall, we were not satisfied with our performance in the last game,” said Casoni.
