The technical staff of Al Arabi, led by Tunisian coach Hatem Al Moaddeb, are preparing the side ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 9 home match against Al Ahli, to be played on Saturday, 20th October.

The team resumed its training on Sunday after a two-day break following their 0-2 loss to Al Kharaitiyat in Round 2 of the QSL Cup.

Al Arabi ended the contract with Croatian coach Luka Bonacic and handed the charge to the club’s Under-23 coach Hatem in the wake of their 0-3 defeat to Al Gharafa in Week 8 of the QNB Stars League.

All players, except Ahmed Fathy and Mohammed El Neel, who are doing duty for the Qatar national team, and Iraqi player Ahmed Ibrahim took part in the training sessions that mainly focus on the fitness of players.

Al Arabi have won four matches and lost as many to be placed sixth with 12 points in the QNB Stars League standings.
