Al Sadd’s top scorer Bagdad Bounjah leads the way with the highest shot average of any player in the league. The Algerian hot-shot registered 5.1 shots per match and goes some way to explain his impressive haul of 23 goals in his maiden season in Qatar.
Whilst the QSL’s leading striker Yusef El Arabi is second on the list with 4.7 shots per game. The Moroccan international also enjoyed a fine debut in the QSL, helping his Lekhwiya side lift their fifth ever QSL crown. Al Rayyan captain Rodrigo Tabata is third on the list, averaging 4.5 shots per match for Michael Laudrup’s side. The Qatar international had yet another solid season leading the Lions notching 20 goals over the course of the campaign. An average of 4.3 shots per game put him in at fourth place.
Not far behind Romarinho is El Jaish team-mate Sardor Rashidov who averaged 3.8 shots per season. The Uzbekistan international winger caught the eye this season, and made a significant impact in front of goal for Sabri Lamouchi’s side this term.
