<p>The Qatar Stars League Management (QSLM) convened a technical meeting on Wednesday ahead of the Qatar Cup semifinals.</p><p>The meeting, held at the QSLM headquarters at Al Bidda Tower, was chaired by QSLM’s Competitions Department Director Ahmed Al Adsani and attended by representatives of the four competing teams — Al Duhail, Al Sadd, Al Rayyan and Al Gharafa — as well as Qatar Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee.</p><p>Ismail Ahmed (Al Duhail), Abdulaziz Al Jaidi (Al Sadd), Omar Al Azani (Al Rayyan) and Abdullah Al Shammari (Al Gharafa) represented the clubs.</p><p>A number of matters related to the semifinal matches’ organisation were discussed.</p><p>The teams’ jersey colours were also decided — Al Duhail (full red), Al Sadd (white), Al Rayyan (red & black) and Al Gharafa (full yellow).</p><p>The meeting stressed the need for players to co-operate fully with the referees and abide by their decisions.</p>

<p>The tournament’s format is one-off semifinals and final. The semifinals will pit the first against fourth-placed team and second against third-placed side in the QNB Stars League. In case of tie after regular time, matches will be decided in tie-breaker without extra time.</p><p>The semifinals will be played on 21st and 22nd April, and final on 27th April. All matches will kick off at the Al Sadd Stadium at 19:00.</p><p>Al Sadd will play Al Rayyan in the first semifinal, followed by the encounter between Al Duhail and Al Gharafa.</p>
