Lusail secured promotion to 2026-2027 season Doha Bank Stars League for the first time in their history after defeating Al Markhiya 2-0 in a match played on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium in Round 13 of Second Division League.

Lusail were crowned 2025-2026 season Second Division champions with one round remaining, having collected 29 points. The result of their final match in the league will officially confirm their triumph.
