Several Al Sadd players and coach Roberto Mancini spoke after winning the 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League title following their match against Al Shamal in Week 22 played at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on Monday, April 27, 2026.

They expressed their happiness at winning the championship after a great effort throughout the season. They also expressed their thanks and appreciation to the club management, technical as well as administrative staff, and fans.

Roberto Mancini: I thank the players and everyone for this achievement

Italian coach Roberto Mancini expressed his immense happiness at winning the Doha Bank Stars League title, saying, “I thank the players for the effort they put in throughout the season, as well as the technical, administrative and medical staff. Now is a truly wonderful moment to share the joy of winning the league title with the fans. Regarding his second title as the team’s coach, following the Qatar-UAE Super Cup victory, he said, “It’s a wonderful feeling to win Doha Bank Stars League. It’s a truly special moment for me to be crowned league champions with my team.”

Roberto Firmino: Winning the league is fruit of a full season’s efforts

Brazilian star striker Roberto Firmino said that winning the league title was the fruit of a full season’s efforts, during which the team performed at a high level. “We’re delighted with the victory and the title, and with winning the Doha Bank Stars League shield and achieving our 19th league title in history. Undoubtedly, it’s an exceptional and special day in the team’s journey this season, a season marked by determination and a strong desire to win the title. The competition was fierce, but Al Sadd always prove their capabilities and we hope the team’s achievements will continue.”

Claudinho: Proud of what we’ve achieved and look forward to more

Brazilian player Claudinho said, “We’re happy to have won the shield deservedly and are looking forward to more. Al Sadd managed to achieve their goal of lifting the league title and the players showed a fighting spirit in all matches. There was a great desire from everyone to win the title. We thank Al Sadd fans for their presence and support of the team, and we’re happy that we were able to bring joy to our fans. We’re motivated to perform even better in the remaining competitions this season.”

Mohamed Camara: Winning the title was difficult

Malian Mohamed Camara confirmed that winning the league title was extremely difficult. He said, “The players delivered great and strong performances until we secured the title in the match against Al Shamal in Week 22. Fans played a huge role in supporting the team. From the beginning of the season, we were focused on winning the title. We knew how to achieve what was required and claim the shield, which’ll be an extra motivation for us to achieve even more in future.”

Rafa Mujica: I congratulate the players, coaching staff and management

Spanish striker Rafa Mujica emphasized that winning the league title was one of the most beautiful moments. He congratulated his teammates, coaching staff and the club management on this achievement, which adds to Al Sadd’s already-impressive collection of titles and accomplishments.

Team captain Hassan Al Haydous expressed his immense joy at Al Sadd’s triumph in 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League, saying, “We’re overjoyed to have achieved this feat and every fan is happy. Winning the league this season was a challenge for us and, as players, we pledged from the beginning of the season to retain the league title. Winning the shield wasn’t easy, but we went into every match determined to win.”

Meshaal Barsham: I congratulate Al Sadd management, fans and all supporters

Al Sadd goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham expressed his immense joy at their third consecutive league title. He said, “We congratulate the Al Sadd management, our fans and all supporters on this achievement. We thank the fans who came to the stadium and supported the team. Our focus from the beginning was on winning the title. The team played with great spirit and teamwork. The players gave their all and the team played as a cohesive unit, which helped us secure the title.”
