Al Khor coach Adel Sellimi spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 3 match against Al Shahania.

“Our preparations have been normal. We have corrected some of the mistakes made by our players in our first two matches. We must win and we want to put behind the big defeat that we suffered at the hands of Al Duhail in the previous round.

“Our players badly want to register their first victory. In order to achieve it, we must put up a disciplined effort, and show enthusiasm and team spirit against Al Shahania who are a well-organised side.

“We will be without goalkeeper Mohamed Bakri and Adel Badr due to their Olympic team duty, and Musab Abdulmajeed and Mohammed Bugshan due to injuries,” said Sellimi.

Al Khor player Saif Hassan Al Mohannadi said, “We target nothing less than three points from this match. It is true that there is a huge difference between the teams, but there will not be any let-up and we are determined to win.

“Our captain Nayef Al Buraikhi has specially reminded us of the importance of opening the account in the QNB Stars League.”
