<span style="font-size: 13px;">QSL side Umm Salal has announced the signing of former Al Wakrah striker Mahir Yousef. The club confirmed the deal late last night, with Yousef signing a one year deal with the Orange Fortress with the option for a one year contract extension.</span><span style="font-size: 13px;">Yousef has plenty of experience in the QSL, and is no stranger to the Umm Salal set-up having previously played on loan with the side.</span><br />

<span style="font-size: 13px;">In other news, Umm Salal has also renewed the contracts of two players ahead of the new season. Veteran defender Jawad Ahannach and midfielder Ali Bazmandegan have signed one year extensions with the club.<br />

<span style="font-size: 13px;">Umm Salal formally returned to preseason training on Sunday evening, as Mahmoud Jaber’s side look to improve on their sixth place finish in the QSL last season. Umm Salal are set for a training camp from the 10</span><sup>th</sup><span style="font-size: 13px;"> to the 27</span><sup>th</sup><span style="font-size: 13px;"> of August in Holland. </span>
