QSL side Umm Salal is set to formally complete the signing of Moroccan defender Jalal Daoudi from Hassania d'Agadir in the coming days as  the Orange Fortress look to strengthen their ranks ahead of the new season.

Daoudi arrived in Doha on Sunday morning to negotiate personal terms prior to signing a contract with Mahmoud Jaber’s side. The signing of Daoudi will mean that Umm Salal will be in the market for one more professional player, after keeping hold of Ivorian striker Yannick Sagbo and Syrian international Mahmoud Al-Mawas.

Umm Salal are set for their preseason training camp between the 10^th and 27^th of August in the Netherlands.
