QSL side Umm Salal has announced six deals ahead of the new 2017/2018 QSL campaign. The club confirmed that four players have extended their stay with the club by signing contract extensions.

Goalkeeper Eisa Shaaban, left back Ismail Dahqani and Ali Mohammed are joined by Syrian international striker Mahmoud Al Mawas who has signed a deal to stay with Umm Salal to the summer of 2019.











Umm Salal also revealed the capture of local left-back Mohammed Al Zowayed from Muaither. The 27 year old enjoyed a fine season with the relegated side, and his performances convinced Umm Salal management to sign the player.

In other news Umm Salal are also set to complete their quartet of foreign players for the new season. Earlier in the week the club announced that Moroccan defender Jalal Daoudi has arrived to Doha ahead of a proposed move. Now, Daoudi could be joined by compatriot Adil Rhaili formally of Kuwait Sports Club who has also arrived in Doha ahead of contract negotiations with the side.

Providing the deals for the Moroccan duo goes through, it will mean that Mahmoud Jaber’s foreign players will be made up of Yannick Sagbo, Mahmoud Al Mawas along with the signings of Jalal Daoudi and Adil Rhaili.

Umm Salal are set to resume training in the coming days as they ramp up preparations for the new QSL campaign.
