QSL side Umm Salal have begun their preparations for their round 25 clash against high-flying El Jaish. Bülent Uygun’s side will head into the tie in good spirits following their 1-0 victory over Al Arabi. The team met on Sunday evening to train ahead of the match.

In team news, Umm Salal confirmed the return of defender Rami Fayez who missed out on the Arabi match with a muscle complaint. Whilst midfielder Dheyab Al-Annabi will be out of contention for the game, after picking up his fourth yellow card of the domestic season.

Umm Salal are currently in fifth place in the QSL standings and have a tally of 38 points.
