Qatar Stars League Management (QSLM) CEO Hani Taleb Ballan and Chief Planning Officer Mushtaq Al Waeli attended the Global Football Leagues Forum hosted by the USA’s Major League Soccer (MLS) in New York.
A number of important issues were discussed in detail at the forum, attended by representatives of 30 professional leagues from across the world. The topics consisted of relationship between professional leagues and world body FIFA regarding players, agents, international calendar as well as development of organisational and professional models in the governance and management of clubs and leagues.

The QSLM regularly participates in the forum, which helps boost relationship between the world’s football leagues and facilitate exchange of experience and knowledge.

The prominent attendees included CONCACAF President Victor Montagliani, FIFA Deputy Secretary General in charge of commercial/administrative sector Marco Villiger, MLS Commissioner Don Garber, England’s Premier League Executive Chairman Richard Scudamore and German Bundesliga CEO Christian Seifert.
