QSL side Al Sadd have been handed a boost ahead of their round 23 clash against rivals Lekhwiya.
Qatari international midfielder Ali Asad has returned to training for the Wolves after missing two league games against Al Gharafa and Al Kharitiyat with a calf complaint. Asad joined up with his team-mates on Monday evening, as Al Sadd ramped up their preparations for their Sunday evening clash.
Sadd underwent technical drills under the watchful eye of head coach Jesaldo Ferreria. In other team news, the injured trio of Ayoob Mashhoor, Talal Al-Baloushi and Abdulaziz Al-Khalosi underwent individual training as they regain fitness before joining the remainder of the squad.
Al Sadd are currently 4th place in the QSL and will take on 2nd place Lekhwiya on Sunday evening, KO at 18:00 at Al Sadd stadium.
