QSL side Al Sadd have been handed a boost ahead of their round 23 clash against rivals Lekhwiya.<br />

Qatari international midfielder Ali Asad has returned to training for the Wolves after missing two league games against Al Gharafa and Al Kharitiyat with a calf complaint. Asad joined up with his team-mates on Monday evening, as Al Sadd ramped up their preparations for their Sunday evening clash.<br />
<br />
Sadd underwent technical drills under the watchful eye of head coach Jesaldo Ferreria. In other team news, the injured trio of Ayoob Mashhoor, Talal Al-Baloushi and Abdulaziz Al-Khalosi underwent individual training as they regain fitness before joining the remainder of the squad.<br />

Al Sadd are currently 4<sup>th</sup> place in the QSL and will take on 2<sup>nd</sup> place Lekhwiya on Sunday evening, KO at 18:00 at Al Sadd stadium.<br />
