QSL side Al Sadd will be without influential midfielder Jugurtha Hamroun at least two weeks after club revealed the winger pulled his groin in his sides 5-0 Qatar Clasico win over Al Rayyan.

The news will be a major blow to head Coach Jesaldo Ferriera, who had been relying on the attacking talents of the Algerian summer signing. Hamroun is now likely to miss Al Sadd’s next two games against Umm Salal and Al Sailiya.

In other news the Al Sadd squad trained ahead of their QSL match of the week against Umm Salal. The Wolves are currently in second place in the QSL standings with  24 points from ten games so far this season.
