Round 12 of the QSL will come to a close on Saturday evening with three exciting games with ramifications at both ends of the table.
The first game of the day will see new Umm Salal manager Mahmoud Jaber make his QSL debut against a struggling Al Wakrah side. Umm Salal are on a two game losing streak in the league and will be eager to register a win to get their top four asperations back on track. As for Wakrah, they are currently in the relegation zone and will be aiming for a posative result to boost their chances of survival.
Relegation will also be on the agenda when bottom of the table Al Kharaitiyat take on Muaither at Al Khor stadium. Last time out Kharaitiyat narrowly lost to Lekhiwya and will be targeting a season changing win against a Muaither side who have lost their last five QSL games. Whilst for Muaither, they will be without their leading scorer Alain Dioko for their crunch clash.
The final match of the day is a derby clash between an improving Al Arabi side and the reigning QSL champions, Al Rayyan. The game will be one to savour as two of Qatar’s most popular sides take on each other at Al Arabi stadium. Al Arabi will be looking for their third win in a row, whilst Al Rayyan will be aiming to grab a win to maintain their top four ambitions.
