The Qatar Stars League is sad to announce the passing of Al Khor youth player Serigne Abdou after a long illness on Tuesday the 27^th of September.

The young midfielder achieved much during his short career, representing Qatar at both the  U19 AFC Asian championships in Myanmar in 2014 and also at the 2015 U20 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand. The 2013 Aspire graduate was also a key member of the Al Khor youth team.

The Qatar Stars League wishes to pass its deepest sympathy to the friends and family of Abdou along with the management and players of Al Khor club.
