The Qatar Stars League have held a pre-match meeting with representatives from Al Rayyan and Al Shahania in the presence of the QSL CEO Mr. Hani Ballan in order to discuss the final arrangements for the match which will be played in round 1 of QSL’s 2016/2017 season.

The tie will witness the absence of Al Rayyan fans who have been banned by the QFA. 
The meeting was also attended by venue security representatives, the QSL Competitions Department and staff from Al Rayyan Club and Al Shahania Club.During the meeting, the attendees were informed about the QFA Disciplinary Committee’s decision against Al Rayyan as well as the special arrangements the tie.

Rayyan Club officials expressed their complete understanding of the decision and their full cooperation regarding the required arrangements for match operations. Al Rayyan are set to play Al Shahania on Saturday the 17th of September.
