The Qatar Stars League (QSL) held an Extraordinary General Assembly at the Doha Sheraton Hotel on Sunday. The meeting was chaired by Qatar Football Association (QFA) President His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, who is also Chairman of the QSL.

Other QFA Board members Hani Taleb Ballan, who is also CEO of the QSL, Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Boenain, Jassim Al Rumaihi, Nasser Al Hitmi, and QNB Stars League clubs’ representatives were among those who attended.

Sheikh Hamad welcomed the attendees and the clubs’ representatives expressed their views on various matters.

It was decided to give the clubs the opportunity to put forward their suggestions, so that changes could be made to the present rules and regulations.

The Extraordinary General Assembly would meet at a later date after reviewing the amendments.
