With the first of five terms already finished, the GOALZ Programme coaches have managed to deliver an astonishing 253 hours of fun, high quality coaching to over 1,766 students in a six week period. 

The GOALZ Programme was designed to engage children of all ages in football as well as educate them about being active and staying healthy.  At the same time, the GOALZ Programme also ensures that children around the country learn about the Qatar Stars League and its 14 top division football clubs.

During the past six weeks, GOALZ has worked with the following seven schools:
·         Birla Primary
·         Compass International - Al Gharafa
·         Compass International School - Al Rayyan
·         Lebanese School
·         Newton British  
·         The Next Generation School Ain Khalid
·         The Next Generation School Nuaija

The Football coaching programme was also able to bring on board an extra 746 new festival participants.

Out of a total number of 2,512 participants 1,445 were boys and 1,067 were girls. 
The age breakdown is as follows:--
·         5 to 6 Years: 764 (30.41%)             
·         7 to 8 Years: 965 (38.42%)
·         9 to 10 Years: 733 (29.18%)           
·         11 to 12 years: 50 (1.99%)

There were a total of 51 different nationalities involved in the fun football activities with the majority of participants being of Indian, Lebanese, Pakistani, Egyptian, Sudanese, Qatari or British origin.
