Friday’s QSL action will see three games involving sides targeting all three points as the December run of fixtures comes to an end.
The first match of the day will see two struggling sides in Al Shahania take on each other in the 16:00 K.O at Al Arabi stadium. Al Shahania are fast becoming the draw specialists in the QSL, registering three ties in their last five QSL matches As for Al Khor, they have lost their last five games in the league and are in danger of being pulled into a relegation dog-fight.
The second match of the day will see Al Sailiya take on title chasing Al Sadd at Al Ahli stadium. Sami Trabelsi’s side seemed to have turned the corner after a shakey start to the season. The Peregrines have registered back to back wins for the first time this season, and will be aiming to continue their form against a rampant Al Sadd side. As for Sadd they are fresh from a 8-0 win over Umm Salal last time out, the Wolves are just one point behind league leaders El Jaish and need to put pressure on their title rivals.
The final match of the day will see Al Ahli take on Lekhwiya at Qatar SC stadium. Ahli have yet to win under returning coach Yusef Adam and will be looking to buck the odds with a win over Lekhwiya. Whilst for the Red Knights they will be looking to register their ninth win of the season as they aim for their fifth QSL crown this season.
