QSL CEO Hani Ballan has congratulated Al Sadd  on lifting the Emir Cup the following a 2-1 victory over Al Rayyan. The tie was played at the newly refurbished Khalifa international stadium, and was attended by His Highness Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the Qatar.

The CEO of the Qatar Stars League congratulated the Board of Directors of the Al Sadd Club, headed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the technical and administrative bodies, the players and the fans for winning the Emir Cup, which marks the end of the domestic football season in Qatar. 

Mr. Ballan also congratulated the two teams for reaching the final. Which was inaugurated under the patronage of the Emir earlier in the evening. The stadium is the first one prepared for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. Whilst Mr Ballan also insisted  that the refubished stadium Is a new icon provided by the State of Qatar to the world and confirms the countries capabilities to organize a wonderful and unique World Cup.

At the end of his remarks, the CEO of the QSL thanked His Highness the Emir and his wise leadership for the unlimited support of Qatar Sports.
