
In line with the current Club Licensing regulations, applicant clubs were assessed in key areas, namely: Sporting, Infrastructure/Safety, Personnel & Administration, Legal, Business and Finance. 14 clubs received a QSL Club Licence and 4 clubs received a Q2 Club Licence.
Mr. Hani Taleb Ballan, QSL CEO and Vice-Chairman of the Club Licensing Committee presented the awards.
He recognised the efforts of club personnel in achieving the standards and assured them of the continuing support of the QSL Club Licensing department.
Mr. Ballan also took the opportunity to advise those present of the new AFC Club Licensing Administration System (CLAS) which will be implemented for the next cycle.
This online platform will be jointly operated by the clubs and QSL to ensure a more effective process for the submission of documents. He advised that all the necessary training would be provided by the QSL administration in December 2015.
