Al Duhail coach Djamel Belmady spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Week 13 match against Al Arabi.
“We had no let-up in our preparations for the match against Al Arabi. We are keen to continue our good run and collect three points as it will be crucial in our pursuit of the QNB Stars League title.
“There is no easy match in the league, so we must always focus on the next one. Playing under pressure is a good thing that motivates players and makes them go all out to win. The players have to be fully focused on all games. My wards are eager to win all titles.
On the tiff between Youssef El Arabi and Youssef Msakni over taking the penalty kick during their last match against Qatar SC, Belmadi said, “These things happen with all teams, which is a small problem. The players have a desire to score. I did not have a problem after the end of the game and they are like brothers. They completely forgot about it and the incident became a laughing matter inside the dressing room.”
Al Duhail player Karim Boudiaf said, “We will leave no stone unturned in our efforts to win the league title. The group is now fully focused on that goal and the coming games will see more such desire from our side.”
