Qatar SC are set to fly out to Serbia for their pre-season training camp.

 

The team - coached by Abdulla Mubaraq - will arrive in Belgrade on Thursday and remain until July 24.

 

The team will stay in Belgrade for the first 11 days of the training camp in Belgrade and spend another 10 in Novi Sad, a city in northern Serbia on the banks of the Danube River.

 

The Qatar SC mission is headed by Hassan Ansari, the club's sports director. The team batch of 23 players also includes youngsters from the Under-23 set-up.

 

It is worth mentioning that the Syrian professional Osama Omri will join the team on arrival in Serbia while Iraqi professional Hussein Ali Saadi is expected to join the team in the next few hours.

 

Meanwhile Brazilian signing Joao Marcelo is set to join the squad following a medical in Doha. He was unveiled on Wednesday.

 

Coach Mubaraq has been supervising a training camp in Doha prior to the team's departure for Serbia on Thursday.

 

Qatar SC are scheduled to feature in friendlies during their pre-season training camp in Serbia.

 

Last season Qatar SC finished the QNB Stars League season in 10th spot.
