Newly promoted QSL side Qatar SC have signed Iranian defender Mohammed Tayebi on a season long deal. The club confirmed in a press conference on Saturday evening the capture of the thirty-year-old from Persian Gulf Pro League side Esteghlal Khuzestan. The experienced centre back is the clubs first professional player signed in this summer’s transfer window.
The Kings have been busy in the transfer market as they look to make a splash on their return to the QSL. They have already signed a number of local players including Fahad Khalfan and former Al Arabi defender Ali Jassimi.
Qatar SC is set to to travel to Slovenia for their preseason camp in August, under the guidance of new coach Gabriel Calderón.
