Newly promoted QSL side Qatar SC have signed Iranian defender Mohammed Tayebi on a season long deal. The club confirmed in a press conference on Saturday evening the capture of the thirty-year-old from Persian Gulf Pro League side Esteghlal Khuzestan. The experienced centre back is the clubs first professional player signed in this summer’s transfer window.<br />

The Kings have been busy in the transfer market as they look to make a splash on their return to the QSL.  They have already signed a number of local players including Fahad Khalfan and former Al Arabi defender Ali Jassimi.<br />

Qatar SC is set to to travel to Slovenia for their preseason camp in August, under the guidance of new coach Gabriel Calderón.<br />
