Newly promoted Qatar SC confirmed the signing of Qatari goalkeeper Rajab Hamza on a one-year deal with an option to renew. The club announced that the 30-year-old goalkeeper has been successfully recruited from fellow QSL side Al Arabi.
Hamza will be between the sticks for Qatar SC next season, who return to the QSL after spending a season in the second division. Last campaign, the shot-stopper made 16 appearances for Al Arabi and will prove to be an important addition to the Qatar SC ranks as they look to strengthen their side ahead of the new QSL season.
In other news, the Kings have also signed Qatari forward Ahmed Abdulqader Al Meghessib from Al Duhail on a season long deal with an option to renew. The 19-year-old will look to make his mark with his new club and will bring some youthful energy to the side.
