QSL side Al Ahli has announced that young midfielder Ali Qadri has signed a two year extension with the club. In an official announcement, via the clubs website they announced that the Qatari international had put pen to paper on the deal earlier in the day.

Qadri has been with Ahli since 2012, and has been developing at the club. The Ahli board noted that the signing of Qadri represented the clubs policy of keeping the best youth talent at the club.

In other news, the Ahli side trained on Wednesday evening, under the watchful eye of new head coach Luka Bonačić. The Brigadeers are set to head to their external training camp in Holland from the 7^th of August till the 22^nd of August.
