Qatar SC coach Sebastiao Lazorini on Thursday said his team faced a tough challenge against Mesaimeer.

The two sides meet in a round 20 clash of the Qatar Stars League (QSL).

“This is a very difficult game given our standing in the QSL table which imposes on us to fight throughout the 90 minutes for the victory," Lazaroni said during a press conference.

"The difficulty of the game comes from the fact that we are very close, with one advantage for Mesaimeer that they have nothing to lose. Whoever thinks that the match is easy is mistaken,” Lazaroni added.

“Mesaimeer is an organized team and there is coordination between their lines. They rely on the counter attacks and we have to respect that team and handle them with the utmost seriousness same like we did in our recent games,” Lazaroni said.

“Since I have assumed the responsibility of the football team, I have been working in Formula 1, and I can’t pause or stop to make some amendments or changes.

"All we have to do now is keep on going with the same hard work we have started. We have been able to fix some technical and physical issues. The team is much better now even mentally," he said.

Mesaimeer assistant coach Dragan Tardic said about the coming match would test his young side.

"We are also confident in our potential. We are aware that our performance is good and we are waiting for a win," Tardic said.

"We will play very tough in all our coming games to show everyone that the league season hasn’t finished for us. I am sure that all players feel the same. They are very serious in the training session which will be conveyed to their games," he said.
