<div class="p1"><span class="s1">El Jaish take on Muaither in the first game of round 11 of the QSL season. French head coach Sabri Lamouchi offered his thoughts to the media ahead of the game. </span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">Opening up the press conference stressed that his side are only targeting three points in this match against the promoted side. “The match tomorrow is important after the first loss and we must come back in the right way. The players are ready for this difficult game against Muairther.”</span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">“The games where Muaither have played Al Sadd and Al Rayyan where very close and they could of grabbed a result, we are not underestimating them going into the game” added the French coach. </span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">El Jaish fell to their first defeat of the season against Lekhwiya and Lamouchi stressed that his young side can take some positives from the game. “We hope we learn from this game. My team need the experience to play in games with high intensity and pressure that is how we learn. I am proud of how my players played against Lekhwiya.”</span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">“It was a difficult moment for the club, but now we must focus and come together to reach our goal” added the French coach when asked about the mood within his squad. </span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">El Jaish are without a host of players for the match against Muaither and Lamouchi ended his press conference stressing his squad will be important heading into the tie. “Now it is a good time for the other players in my group to step up and take their chance.”</span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">As for Muaither, they lost 1-0 to Al Sailiya last time out and are on a run of three straight defeats in the league. Head coach Phillipe Birol gave his thoughts to the media ahead of the game. </span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">Opening up the press conference, Birol reveled he is expecting a big performance his side. “Jaish are the top of the league since the start of the season, We played well against a big team in Al Rayyan last time and I am targeting a same performance.”</span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">Last time out Muaither narrowly lost 1-0 to Al Sailiya and slipped into the relegation zone. Despite the result Birol has drawn some posatives from the defeat.“In our last game we played the best match of the season in our opinion, and had many chances to score in this game. We now need to focus on getting as many points as possible.” </span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">“We have played three games and we have not scored a goal, this is a problem. However I am happy how the team has progressed since the start of the season” added the French coach. </span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">Points are the priority for Muaither at the moment, and the French coach revealed his first half season tally at the press conference on Saturday morning. “I am targeting to finishing fourteen or fifteen points by the first half of the season, with this tally we have a good chance to survive.”</span></div>

<div class="p1"><span class="s1">Birol ended the press conference suggesting he is on the look out for new players. “We will speak with the management in January and see what position we are in. Maybe if we are away from the relegation zone we may look at two or three players to improve the group.”</span></div>
