Al Sadd coach Jesualdo Ferreira spoke to the media ahead of their QNB Stars League Round 5 match against Al Arabi, scheduled for Friday.

“The game will be strong and open because Al Arabi will also try to win. Whenever, Al Sadd play with Al Arabi, the match evokes a keen interest among all, be it the players, supporters, officials and administrators. This time too, it’s no different. Our players are also thrilled to take the field,” Ferreira told a Press Conference.

The Portuguese coach spoke about Khalfan Ibrahim, who moved back to Al Arabi from Al Sadd, and Boualem Khoukhi, who played a reverse role this season.

“I know the style of play of Khalfan and his role with A Arabi, but Boualem, who was present at the Press Conference, can be used in any position. So that’s to my advantage,” he said.

Ferreira expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the team despite having an all-win record.

“What I like the most with Al Sadd is the teamwork and high spirit among the players during training as well as matches. That’s how we were able to win all matches and collect full points,” said Ferreira.
