Al Khor coach Jean Hernandez urged his team to fight for a win against Al Ahli, saying 'there are no easy points to be had in the Qatar Stars League (QSL)'.

"We have reached the final rounds of the league where points are very valuable. Al Ahli is a very good team. Maybe they haven’t achieved positive results but we have to respect them,” Fernandez said at his press conference on Wednesday.

“We are entering this game after two defeats against Al Rayyan and Al Sadd. We focus on this game as well as the recent pressures on our team. We got used to such pressures," he said.

He indicated that losing to Al Rayyan and Al Sadd is normal despite the good performance by his team players.

"Al Ahli is close to us in terms of performance and that’s why the match will be tough and equal. All the matches are difficult with slightly less difficulty ones in future versus QSC and Mesaimeer,"
Fernandez said.

Al Ahli Sports Club assistant coach Stanislav said: “We have lost the game to QSC which made all our coming games very crucial and vital for our survival.  We have to gain the three points against Al Khor. We do need every single point.”

He expressed his hope for the team to come out with a positive result in this tough match. He pointed out that the match isn’t going to be easy for both sides.

He explained that his side has have prepared the team well for this coming game.

"The team is performing well but lacks the final tough to score goals and take advantage of the opportunities," he said.

“We, as coaching staff, are working on the preparation of players with some schemes for them to reach the opponent's goals, but sometimes things don’t go as we wish for,” he said
