QSL side Al Arabi have been handed an injury blow ahead of the start of the 2016/2017 QSL season. The club announced yesterday evening that influential midfielder Paulinho is set for a spell on the sidelines with a foot injury.Al Arabi’s medical team confirmed that the former Torino man will be out of contention for up to six weeks. The news will be a major blow for new Arabi head coach Gerardo Pelusso, who could be without for Paulinho for their first game of the QSL season against Al Sailiya.
In other news, Arabi trained ahead of their fourth friendly match which is set to be against UAE Pro League Sharjah. The tie is set to take place on Thursday the 18th of September.
