DOHA: Influential Brazilian striker Paulinho will stay with his squad's pre-season training camp in Germany despite a fitness hitch, Qatar Stars League (QSL) side Al Arabi club announced on Tuesday.

The team's first-choice goalkeeper Masoud Zeraei will also be away from action for a short while as he recovers from a muscle tear, the club said.
Al Arabi are preparing for the new QSL season that kicks off in Doha on September 15.
The Doha giants will take on Al Sailiyah in the season-opening clash at Hamad Bin Khalifa Stadium (Al Ahli) on September 15.
During their training camp, the players have been put their paces by new coach Jirado Biloso.
On Monday, the players underwent special fitness drills aimed at helping the team members improve their overall match readiness.
One of the under-achieving sides in QSL, Al Arabi were coached by Gianfranco Zola last season.
Al Arabi's Iranian import Ashkan Dejagah is not with the squad as he is away on national duty, the club said.
