Two goals within three minutes late in the second half ensured Al Arabi’s 2-0 defeat of Al Shahania in Week 9 of the 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League at the Al Thumama Stadium on Friday.

Yazan Al Naimat opened the scoring in the 84th minute before Michael Olunga added another in the 87th minute as Al Arabi advanced to 10 points while Al Shahania remained on four points at the bottom of the standings.

Both sides had plenty of chances to open the scoring in the first half, but neither of them was able to convert even the glaring ones. ensuring a stalemate for the first 45 minutes.

The situation was the same in the second half, with the backlines of both teams frustrating the efforts of the forwards at securing a goal.
