Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 5 match against Al Gharafa.
“We are in for a very tough match against a team I consider one of the best in the league, which just a few days ago played in the AFC Champions League.
“It is essential that we play with the utmost strength and seriousness against a team that is playing at its best and has top-class players like Yacine Brahimi, Joselu, Ferjani Sassi and other distinguished players capable of creating chances and scoring from the half-volleys.
“Al Shamal also have very impressive players and I have unlimited confidence in them. I know they are fully aware of the responsibility they bear to please their club’s fans,” said Prats.
