Al Wakrah coach Vicente Moreno spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 season Doha Bank Stars League Week 1 match against Al Arabi.

“All players are ready for the start of competition, especially since we have worked well throughout the past period.

“I am very excited about the start of season and I have many hopes and ambitions that I strive to achieve. We will face a strong competitor in the first match, Al Arabi, who have signed good players in all positions,” said Vicente Moreno.

On his part, Al Wakrah goalkeeper Saoud Al Khater said, “I am satisfied with the team’s preparations for the new football season. The training camp went off well.

“Our opening match against Al Arabi will be difficult for both teams, but we are fully prepared. We, at Al Wakrah, are determined to present a different image than the one we presented last season.”
