Al Shamal coach David Prats spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 21 match against Al Rayyan.

“It will be a difficult match, like all league matches, against a great team with distinguished players and a competent technical staff.

“We are looking forward to winning and collecting the three points in order to continue our victories after our last two wins against Al Shahania and Al Duhail, and also to be in the best possible position in the league table at the end of the competition.

“We played a very distinguished match in the last round against a champion team like Al Duhail, who boast a group of players with outstanding capabilities. We played our best match of the season,” said Prats.

Al Shamal player Younes El Hannach said, “We look forward to performing well against Al Rayyan, just like we did against Al Duhail in the last match, which we started well and deservedly won.

“We are capable of achieving our goals if we do what it takes, so we will do our best to achieve victory and secure the three points in the Al Rayyan match.”
