Umm Salal coach Patrice Beaumelle spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 18 match against Al Gharafa.

“Our main goal is to achieve victory and collect the three points, considering this an important turning point for the team in its journey in the league.

“The team showed strong determination and scored the equalizer (in the last match), which reflects the fighting spirit of the players and their insistence on achieving a positive result.

“The match against Al Gharafa will be difficult and requires the team to fight hard to collect the three points,” said Beaumelle.

Umm Salal player Ali Saeed Al Mohannadi said, “The team will enter the match against Al Gharafa with all its strength, seeking to achieve victory and compensate for the draw in the last round against Qatar SC.

“Getting a point from the Qatar SC match was satisfactory compared to the loss. I praise Al Gharafa’s level, they are a distinguished team, but at the same time Umm Salal have the ability to win in view of playing with a high fighting spirit as it is now.”
