Al Rayyan coach Arthur Jorge spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 17 match against Al Arabi.

“We will play against a big team that is going through positive moments, as are we, as we want to continue the positive results, and continue the work we have been providing in recent matches, and it is important to win the match points.

“We consider every match like a final, we trust the fans to support the team during this match, we will play to win the three points, and we will do everything to make the fans happy.

“After the return of Gabriel Pereira, the team is stronger in view of the increased competition between the players,” said Arthur Jorge.

Al Rayyan player Ameed Muhajna said, “The team’s goal is to achieve the three points. We are going through a good period for the club and in every training session we learn something new. In every match, we play to win, so we await the support of the fans who stand behind us constantly, and we will achieve the three points in order to satisfy them.

“The coach always motivates us and every match has its own details. Winning against Al Wakrah is a strong incentive. We have a match against Al Arabi and we will play to achieve the three points.”
