Al Arabi coach Pablo Amo spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 16 match against Al Ahli.

“We are fully prepared for the upcoming match. We have worked hard during the past period to prepare for this important match.

“I am very happy with the players and their performance in training. I see great commitment from them and I believe that they will give their best in the match.

“I do not like to talk much about the opponents at the moment, but they have a good coach who knows how to deal with his players. However, I am completely focused on my team at the moment. Al Ahli will be a strong competitor, but we will improve step by step, and the most important thing for me is the players’ commitment, which is the most important thing at the moment,” said Pablo Amo.

Al Arabi player Yousef Muftah said, “The match will not be easy as the team is performing well this season and we hope that we can get the three points.

“Our preparations for the match were good and all the players are ready for the match and realize the importance of the match. We will do our best to win.

“We really need to achieve a positive result in the Al Ahli match to return to competition. Preparations are going on well with new Spanish coach Pablo Amo and we are seeking to present a strong performance with him that will give us the three points.”
