Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 16 match against Al Gharafa.

“First, I must praise the players for the level they showed during the last three matches. There was great commitment and discipline, and it was not easy to get nine points in those three difficult matches, but we did so thanks to the teamwork and great effort made by the team, and I must repeat my praise for the players for their efforts and work.

“We have aspirations to raise the pace and continue working with all our strength so that we can continue to win and achieve the goals we aspire to.

“The match against Al Gharafa will be difficult, but we are prepared for it in the appropriate manner.

“Regarding the absences that the team suffered from during the past matches… Badr Benoun is still injured and Ahmed Abdel Kader will not play in this match either, but despite these influential absences, the team showed the value of teamwork, as all players made efforts to be present and participate, and there was real competition to serve the team, and this is one of the secrets of success,: said Safri.

Qatar SC player Jassim Al Jalabi said, “We know that our match against Al Gharafa is important and difficult, but we are fully prepared for that match and we will do our best to win.

“All players in Qatar SC are making every effort for the team and there is a real desire to continue the positive results.”
