Al Sadd coach Felix Sanchez spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 11 match against Al Ahli.

“Our next match will be against Al Ahli, we know that it is a very important match for us because we have the same number of points in the standings.

“Al Ahli are having a great season and have become a difficult team to beat and have succeeded in providing high levels continuously so far in the league, so we need to provide a good match against them.

“Our focus now is on the league championship after the recent victory over Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia in the AFC Champions League Elite, we realize the importance of not losing points if we want to compete for first place.

“Getting a good result and three points is very difficult in the AFC Champions League Elite, especially when you play outside your home stadium. Winning against a team like Al Nassr gives us confidence of course and now we must focus on our next match, but we have a short time to recover and prepare, so we need to be very focused for the Al Ahli match,” said Sanchez.

Al Sadd player Youssef Abdul Razzaq said, “The importance of good preparation for the match against Al Ahli, through which we seek to continue victories to get closer to the top.
