Qatar SC and Al Shahania will face off in Week 10 of the 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League at the Suhaim Bin Hamad Stadium of Qatar SC on Saturday, November 23, 2024. The kick-off is at 5.30pm.

Both teams will seek to win and obtain three valuable points, especially with the championship now approaching the halfway mark.

Qatar SC occupy 10th place in the rankings with 10 points from three wins, one draw and five defeats, and on same goal difference with Al Rayyan, Al Shamal and Al Arabi, who are placed seventh, eighth and ninth respectively. Qatar SC had a 2-1 win over Al Khor in the previous round and in which they performed impressively.

On the other hand, Al Shahania are in the 11th and penultimate place in the standings with eight points from two wins, as many draws and five defeats.

Al Shahania would be counting on the good morale of their players after improved showings in some of their recent matches, despite a loss to Al Ahli in Week 9. The team, under Spaniard Alvaro Mejia, is looking forward to scoring a victory and working on elevating themselves in the standings.

It is expected that the performance of both teams will be dominated by attacking play given their distinguished front lines, as Qatar SC have Sebastian Soria, Ben Malango and Ahmed Abdel Kader among others, while Dutch striker Pelle van Amersfoort is one of the most prominent attacking aces for Al Shahania, along with Alhassan Koroma and others.
