Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 6 match against Umm Salal.

“We are looking forward to achieving a positive result in our next match against Umm Salal to compensate for our loss in the previous match against Al Gharafa, during which we made a great effort but were not successful, especially after committing some mistakes in important periods of the match. Perhaps the lack of focus played a role in that, but we are ready to compensate in our next match and we seek to achieve victory and collect the three points.

“Our match against Umm Salal will be difficult because it is a good team that appeared in a good way during the first rounds this season in view of the stability it is witnessing as well as supporting its ranks with distinguished players, which increases the strength of the match. But we are ready for the game with a great desire to win and provide the best possible level.

“We know that we are facing an important and difficult stage, but we rely on mutual trust with the players, and we are convinced that good results will be achieved as soon as possible because everyone is working in the club, and everyone is making a tremendous effort, whether the management, the technical staff or the players, and we only hope that we will succeed in achieving the goals we seek in the coming period.” Said Safri.

Qatar SC goalkeeper Moatasem Majed Al Bustami said, “The upcoming match against Umm Salal is of great importance to us. We are ready to appear in the best possible way in an effort to achieve a positive result that will push the team forward in the standings.
