Qatar SC coach Youssef Safri spoke to the media ahead of their 2024-2025 season Ooredoo Stars League Week 4 match against Al Ahli.

“This is my first match this season in the league and I hope that we will succeed in achieving a good and joyful start for the team.

“We have worked on developing many aspects during the past period and we have done a great job in preparing for the next stage. We know that our match against Al Ahli will not be easy, but we are looking forward to achieving a good result despite the absences we are suffering from.

“I watched the matches played by Al Ahli in the league championship this season. It is the best start for that team in years. They also occupy second place in the standings and have many distinguished players, but we are ready with great determination in order to achieve a result that satisfies us and our fans,” said Safri.

Qatar SC player Ahmed Abdelqader said, “The team prepared during the break in order to return to the league in a good way that satisfies the fans.

“We wish the team success under new coach Youssef Safri and we hope that our match against Al Ahli will be the beginning of a new phase of victories.

“Regarding scoring the winning goal in my first match in the league, against Al Shamal, I would say that it was a great incentive for me and I always look forward to doing my best, whether by scoring or helping the team in any way as long as it serves the team.

“I am very happy to be in the team and I found a great welcome and great help from everyone since I joined the team. I hope that we will all succeed in achieving results that satisfy the fans, especially after coach Youssef Safri took over the task.
